MINUTES OF MEETING mAY 6TH 2008
Present:

Old Business:
- Dash plaques – thanks to Judy, the plaques are done.
- Vendor for Aldergrove – no decision on which group will be handling food sales

T-shirts – no decision can be made until Judy and Roman return from holidays as Judy is handling ordering of shirts.

Flyers for Aldergrove – a ‘mock up’ of a flyer was presented to the group. After some discussion, the flyer will be printed in black and brought to the next meeting for discussion and decision.
New Business

Thanks to Gail and Dale for hosting the Car Club and serving a great dinner.

A card was passed around for everyone to sign for Dave Hooper. Dave is in the hospital having surgery. Get well soon Dave and get back to the Club.

Trophies – need to consult with Judy at the next meeting.

Prizes – Ginny is getting a basket made up for a ladies prize and a children’s basket for boys for the picnic.

Cost of field – club is hoping to share the cost of the field with the group that will be doing the catering.

The Langley Legion is having a car show June 28th. This is the first car show they are hosting and everyone is welcome.

There is a car show and swap meet in Ferndale this weekend at the Catholic Church.

Monroe is on May 17/18.

June BBQ to be held at Dale’s place in Maple Ridge:

Start time is 5pm

Business meeting will be at 5:30pm

Supper will be at 7pm

Everyone brings their own meat to BBQ, booze and lawn chair. If you want, bring a side dish enough food to serve 6-8 people. The Club will supply side dishes and nibbles.
Buy and Sell:
- The usual things are still for sale.
- Ron is still looking for cheap bumperettes
July meeting will be held at Brad’s place on the 8th.
